Pursuant to Sections 59 and 60 of the Health Act 2007, an Interim Order was made by Cork District Court, on 29 August 2014, cancelling the registration of Glanmire Residential Care Centre of Glyntown, Glanmire, Co Cork, as a designated centre under Part 8 of the Health Act 2007, with effect from 15:30hrs on 29 August 2014.

In accordance with Section 64 of the Health Act 2007, the HSE was directed to take charge of Glanmire Residential Care Centre from such time. The matter is returnable to Cork District Court for a final determination pursuant to Section 61 of the Health Act 2007.
